Why behavioral insights?

Traditionally, organizations assume that people are completely rational in their decision-making, but in practice, emotions, experiences, and environment significantly influence our behavior and decision-making process. Behavioral insights represent a body of knowledge from various scientific fields (psychology, behavioral economics, cognitive neuroscience, etc.) that relate to understanding how people actually think and behave in the real world, not just how we think they should behave.
